For teaching online, I envisage something connected to English Dipping, which is my very small business taking place since 2013 in Tacuarembó, focused mainly on teenagers, preparing Cambridge international exams, adults and also in company students.
My idea for teaching online is to open myself to new markets; I imagine teaching to Spanish speakers.
The idea is to broaden my work; sometimes I feel a bit lonely here despite having worked in different schools in the city both as a teacher and a coordinator. What I show you below is an illustration of what English Dipping has been in the past years. The idea would be now to take this to the virtual world aiming at students who need to start from scratch, upgrade their English, maybe prepare exams, in other parts of Uruguay or abroad.
Heike’s idea of connecting this to the concept of immersive learning is enlightening. I do want to invite my online students to “experience” English learning as something motivating and significant, something that helps them develop their potential and find better opportunities. I hope I can find the way and that not being a tech-savvy is not an impediment. Do you think it makes sense?

Below I show you what I already got about English Dipping. I do have the logo, fortunately!
